I'm often asked about the objects that I paint. I own all of the objects in my paintings, and part of the fun is the quest for new and interesting objects to inspire my work. I use vintage objects, combining them in unexpected ways to create a still life painting a little off kilter, a bit surprising, and with a touch of my "British" sense humor. -Richard Hall

Apple Cobbler
This painting "Apple Cobbler" sold off the easel. All of the cobbler tools and the apple peeler had great textures and patinas. I set up the actual objects and paint from life. You can see the setup and painting process going on at the Celebration of Fine Art. www.celebrateart.com
